Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam led the Toronto Raptors to the overtime victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in NBA opener (130-122).

The two players combined for 68 points (34 points each), helping the defending champions come back from a 11-point deficit and force an overtime (117-117). In the extra period, Toronto outscored New Orleans 13-5 and sealed the deal.

Kyle Lowry also played very well for the winners, finishing the game with 22 points. On the other hand, five players scored in double figures for the losing squad, with Brandon Ingram having a team-high 22 points.
