Kawhi Leonard was tremendous in the opening night of the NBA and helped the LA Clippers defeat their rivals LA Lakers (112-102).

Leonard finished the game with 30 points, on 10/19 shooting, while four more players scored in double figures for the winners.

On the other hand, Danny Green had a team-high 28 points (7/9 from the three-point range) for the losing squad, with Anthony Davis (10 rebounds) and LeBron James (nine rebounds, eight assists) adding 25 and 18 points, respectively.

The Lakers made a great start (2-13), yet the Clippers made a come-back and led by as many as 14 points.

Even though the Lakers reclaimed the lead thanks to a 15-0 run (85-82), the Clippers stood tall in the fourth quarter and sealed the deal.
