The Los Angeles Lakers newcomer Anthony Davis praises his teammates JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard:

“We been on the same team … me and JaVale or Dwight and I. I think every scrimmage and it’s the same. It’s hard to score … or JaVale and Dwight.

It’s hard to score against us in the paint, so my role doesn’t change. I don’t have to get every block now, every rebound. We have guys who can do the same thing,” Davis said.

This past season, the 26-year-old averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at 51.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from three for the Pelicans.
