The now-Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis talks on how he prepares his body for the upcoming season:

“I’ve watched how a lot of people get hurt during the seasons, and obviously that’s something we all dread, and so I’m training to find ways to prevent that. I’m going into crazy positions. I’m trying to maximize my strength in these awkward positions. That way, when I’m in those positions with a lot of load or someone is pushing me, my body and my ligaments and tendons can handle it,” Davis told Peter Flax of The Red Bulletin.

This past season, the 26-year-old averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at 51.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from three for the Pelicans.
