At the launch party for NBA 2K20, the now-Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis talked on the team’s main goal in the coming season and his readiness to play the 5 if need be:

On Lakers main goal: “We want to come in and make sure that we have one goal, and that’s to come together and win a championship.”

On playing the 5: “That’s something that we’re going to discuss. Obviously if I have to, I’m willing to do it. But my preferred position is that I like to be a four.”

This past season, the 26-year-old averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at 51.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from three for the Pelicans.
