The head of coach of Turkey, Ufuk Sarica, talked about the medical condition of Scottie Wilbekin, following a finger injury.

Wilbekin did not play in Turkey’s opening game in the Basketball World Cup, where the Turks dominated Japan (86-67).

Here is what coach Sarica told reporters in the post-game press conference regarding the injury of Wilbekin:

“It was my decision [for Wilbekin not to play against Japan]. He had a finger problem, but now he’s good. He will play. Maybe on Tuesday, maybe Thursday, I still don’t know, but I think he will be okay.”
