Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul confirmed Monday that veteran guard Scottie Wilbekin has mutually agreed to part ways with the club, ending a four-season stint with the Turkish powerhouse.
The 32-year-old guard joined Fenerbahce in the summer of 2022 and played a key role during a period that included the club’s EuroLeague championship run in 2025.
Wilbekin’s final season with Fenerbahce was heavily impacted by injuries, limiting his availability throughout the campaign.
He suffered a torn ACL in Round 1 of the 2024-25 EuroLeague season, an injury that ruled him out for the remainder of that year despite the team’s championship finish.
The recovery process continued into the 2025-26 season, where he appeared in only six EuroLeague games.
In those appearances, the guard averaged 7.7 points and 1.3 assists in 14 minutes per game while shooting 54.5% from two-point range and 44% from three-point distance.
Fenerbahce continued to compete at the top of the standings despite the limited role from the veteran guard.
Through 34 games, the Turkish club holds a 23-11 record, placing it first in the EuroLeague table with four regular-season games remaining in the 38-game schedule.
The team’s offensive production has relied heavily on its backcourt rotation. Wade Baldwin IV averages 14.4 points and 5.6 assists per game, while Talen Horton-Tucker leads the roster with 16.2 points per contest.
Before joining Fenerbahce, Wilbekin spent two seasons with Darussafaka and four seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
