Stephen Jackson, a 14-year NBA veteran and captain of the Killer 3’s in BIG3, explains why the Lakers will claim the “Battle for LA” in the coming season:
“I think Anthony Davis can be the reason that the Lakers take over Staples Center because he is that good and he could be the best player in this league,” Jackson said.
This past season, Davis averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at 51.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from three for the Pelicans.
