Greece dominated Venezuela in the Final of the 2019 Suzhou International Basketball Challenge (51-74) and won the trophy.

Venezuela remained competitive only in the opening quarter (19-20), After that, the Greeks took over. Playing very well on both ends, they outscored their opponents 32-54 in the remaining three quarters and cruised to the victory.

Four players scored in double figures for the winners, with Giannis Bourousis having a team-high 12 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play in the game, due to a knee discomfort.

On the other hand, Jhoman Zamora posted 14 points for the losing squad, while Nestor Colmenares added 11.

This was the final preparation game for both teams prior to the start of the Basketball World Cup.

Turkey finished third in the tournament, after defeating the Dominican Republic earlier today (89-57).
