Ex-Lakers point guard Steve Nash shared thoughts on now-Los Angeles Lakers big man DeMarcus Cousins and his mental toughness to cope with health problems:

“He shouldn’t retire. He’s still a young guy. He’s a competitor. He’s gone through a lot already. He can do it. He’s gotta keep trying. It might take him a long time to get it exactly how he wants and feel safe and secure, but he’s still got a future,” Nash said.

This past season, Cousins averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the Golden State Warriors.
