The Memphis Grizzlies rookie point guard Ja Morant, who underwent minor knee surgery back in June, discussed his health issues:

“I’m good, 100 percent right now. Just working to get back to the Ja I was and I feel like I’m there right now. It was hard but my teammates made it easy for me just to be that vocal leader who wasn’t on the court but, obviously, could help some of the players,” Morant said.

This past season, the 20-year-old averaged 24.5 points, 10.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Murray State Racers.
