Jimmer Fredette arrived in Athens and talked about his decision to sign with Panathinaikos during the offseason.
Here is what the American guard told reporters upon his arrival in Athens on Monday (19/08):
“It was a tough decision to come to Europe. Panathinaikos tried to sign me in the past years, but the right moment for me to join the team was now. I am excited to be here. Hopefully, I will make the difference for the team and help as much as I can.
I have not played in Europe yet. I don’t know how long it will take to adjust to European basketball. I want to do the right things for the team. I will do my best to help the team win.”
