Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless thinks big man Dwight Howard would not be a good option for the Los Angeles Lakers even coming off the bench:
“Dwight Howard would be a bad fit for your Lakers if it in fact they have championship aspirations … I will guarantee he would be an energy drain on this basketball team … Howard never worked hard enough on his game to become anything more than a late-game liability,” Bayless said.
Howard missed most part of the 2018-19 season owing to injuries, averaging 12.8 points along with 9.2 rebounds per game. As a Laker, he averaged 17.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per contest in the 2012-13 season.
