Serbia edges Lithuania in hard-fought battle

In a Basketball World Cup preparation game, Serbia defeated Lithuania at the sold-out Stark Arena in Belgrade (72-68).

The Serbians came back from a nine-point deficit in the opening quarter (14-23) and earned the victory. The hosts outscored the visitors 58-45 in the last three quarters.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (18 points), Nemanja Bjelica (16 points) and Nikola Jokic (13 points) were the best players of the winners.

Marius Grigonis and Mindaugas Kuzminskas stood out for the losing squad with 18 and 13 points, respectively.
