Per Gazzetta Dello Sport, Danilo Gallinari is expected to return to action in the start of the Basketball World Cup on August 31.
The 31-year-old forward underwent appendectomy last week and will be sidelined for another three weeks.
For his part, Luigi Datome is still recovering from a knee injury, yet he is expected to be ready for Italy’s final preparation games in China against Serbia, France and New Zealand.
Italy will face Serbia, the Philippines and Angola in the group stage of the Basketball World Cup.
