Vince Carter referred to the possibility of returning to the Toronto Raptors for the final season of his legendary career.

Here is what the 42-year-old free agent said in a interview during his basketball camp:

“It would be a cool situation. It’s all about if the situation works, if that’s something Toronto wants to do – obviously, the fans kinda want that to happen – but it has to be something the organization wants and feels they need my services.”

After being acquired in the 1998 NBA Draft, Carter appeared in 403 games with the Raptors, earning five All-Star selections and two All-NBA selections.

He is the franchise’s all-time leader in points per game (23.4) and is in the top-five in total points scored, blocks, steals and made 3-pointers among other statistical categories.

Carter averaged 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 76 games with the Atlanta Hawks in the 2018/19 season.
