ImageIn the so called 'final' of the Addecco Cup (both teams had previously beaten Bulgaria) Slovenia rolled past Greece easily winning by 81-64.

Greece was leading 4-6 after two minutes of play, but that was it, as Slovenia took charge of the game and led 12-6. With Nachbar scoring 8 points the first quarter ended with Slovenia leading with an amazing 23-10 lead.

Slovenia started the second quarter in the same way and with Udrih taking over form Nachbar they increased their lead to 32-16. Jaka Lakovic' two-pointer saw Slovenia leading 37-31 in the half time.

After the necessary teamtalk Greece came back strong and tied the game 44-44 in the third quarter. After some slight tension between them both Nachbar and Perperoglou were sent off and a little bit later Greece took over the lead for the first time after the second minute, 49-50. Slovenia eventually managed to take their lead back and the third quarter finished with the score being 52-51.

Lorbek took charge in the beginning of the last quarter and Slovenia established a comfortable 6 points lead (59-53). Greece pulled back to tie with two threepointers in a row, but that was it for the Greeks as Slovenia blew away Greece with a 22-5 run in the last minutes.
