Crvena Zvezda announced on Tuesday (16/07) that the condition of Ognjen Kuzmic has been improved, yet he is still in an induced coma.
According to the club’s official statement:
“KK Crvena Zvezda informs the public that the general health condition of Ognjen Kuzmić is better than in the previous day but still very complex.
Ognjen is still in the induced coma, but his lungs are increasingly functionally autonomy and to a greater extent our basketball player is able to breathe independently.
By the decision of the medical team, Ognjen Kuzmić will be in the midst subjected to an operation of the upper jaw to eliminate the problems related to his breathing.
Due to the complexity of this procedure, the player will remain in the induced coma.
