The Los Angeles Lakers newcomer Anthony Davis was asked about playing the four vs. the five, per NBA.com:

“I like playing the four, I’m not even going to sugarcoat it. I don’t really like playing the five, but if it comes down to it, Coach, I’ll play the five. But the game has become so positionless, that you can put five guys on the floor and they just play. You’ve seen that thing about (LeBron) running the point … that’s a super tall point guard … it really doesn’t matter. Just put five guys out there that fit best with each other, and go out and win,” Davis said.

Last season, the 26-year-old averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at 51.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from three in 33.0 minutes of action.
