Kestutis Kemzura will be the new coach of Latvian National Team. He has reached an agreement with the Latvian Federation and will be officialized in the next days. If Latvia will qualify for World Cup the contract will be automatically renewed.
"I have the honor to work with Latvia, a country with a long basketball tradition and with very strong players" said Kemzura in a statement.
"Kemzura as team leader is the best choice. The most important thing is to biuld a strong and joined team" added the President Ojārs Kehris.
