French point guard Leo Westermann will be heading to Fenerbahce on a multi-year deal.

According to Eurohoops, Fenerbahce are finalising the buy-out clause with Westermann’s current club Zalgiris, where he is under contract until 2020.

Zalgiris have made Fenerbahce’s interest in the 26-year-old public, stating that they “expressed the interest in Leo Westermann” when they announced the signing of Alex Perez earlier this week.

A deal between the two clubs is expected to be confirmed as early as next week.

Westermann averaged 6.8 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.1 rebounds in 17 minutes over 27 games in the EuroLeague last season.
