According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to sign big man Kristaps Porzingis to a five-year, $158 million contract extension. Porzingis’s deal will be the largest contract in Dallas history.

The 23-year-old suffered a season-ending injury while playing against the Milwaukee Bucks when landing awkwardly on the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo foot after a dunk back in February 2018.
