According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Knicks “are weighing the prospect of extending a considerable one-year offer to” the Golden State Warriors free-agent-to-be DeMarcus Cousins if they fail to land forward Kevin Durant in free agency.

Last season, the 28-year-old averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
