Darius SongailaLithuanian power forward Darius Songaila will continue his career in New Orleans and the Hornets as he was traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves along with Bobby Brown for Antonio Daniels and a 2014 second round Draft pick.

31-year old Songaila played highschool and college basketball in the US before coming to Europe and CSKA in 2002 to start his professional career. He stayed just one year with the Russian club and then moved back to the US, this time for the Sacramento Kings , where he stayed until 2005. He spent the next season with the Chicago Bulls and the last 3 with the Washington Wizzards.

Last season 206cm tall Songaila averaged 7.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 77 games (29 started). His most productive season in the NBA was the one with Chicago where he had 9.2 points and 4 rebounds in average.
