Galatasaray came close to a big victory at the Sinan Erdem Dome, yet Anadolu Efes stood tall (82-77) and took the upper hand in the series (1-0).

The visitors were in front by five in the third quarter (50-55), yet the hosts turned things around after that. Thanks to a 29-18 run, Anadolu Efes earned the lead and never looked back (79-73).

Galatasaray cut the deficit to two with 38 seconds to go (79-77), but came up short and Efes sealed the deal.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Rodrigue Beaubois having a game-high 18 points.

Aaron Harrison led the losing squad with a team-high 17 points, while three more players scored in double figures for Galatasaray.

Game 2 will be played on Sunday (02/06).
