The Toronto Raptors took the lead in the NBA Finals (1-0), after overpowering the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 (118-109).

The Raptors were in front for the majority of the night and led by as many as 12 points. Despite the Warriors’ multiple attempts to turn things around, Toronto stood tall and sealed the deal in the fourth quarter.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Pascal Siakam being unstoppable with a team-high 32 points (14/17 shooting).

Stephen Curry (34 points) and Klay Thompson (21 points) combined for 55 points for the losing squad, but could not give their team the victory.

Game 2 will be played in Toronto on Sunday (02/06).
