The leader of the Toronto Raptors Kawhi Leonard led his team to its first-ever NBA title and was named the Finals MVP.

Leonard averaged 28.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.2 steals in the series against the Golden State Warriors.

Leonard joins Abdul-Jabbar and James as the only players to earn the NBA Finals MVP awards with two different franchises, while he becomes the first one to win it in both conferences (Toronto in the East and San Antonio in the West).
