Fenerbahce head coach Zeljko Obradovic was disappointed following his team’s loss to Anadolu Efes in the semi-final (73-92).

Here is what the legendary coach told reporters in the post-game press conference:

“I tried to understand what happened with my team today. And I’m really sorry for my players. The first impression is to recognize that our defense was not at the best level to play against a team like Anadolu Efes in the Final Four.

I am also very sorry for our people, they showed us great support. Again I’m really sorry for my players. I believe we played really good basketball this season to show this picture today, it really hurt me.

If I start to talk about injuries it’ll look like I’m looking for an excuse. We played for a long time without some of our main guys. This is the reason that I’m really sorry. We didn’t play something that is our game.”
