One day before the semi-final against Real Madrid (17/05), Alec Peters of CSKA Moscow spoke with TalkBasket.net about his first Final Four experience.

Here is what the American forward said:

On playing for the first time in a EuroLeague Final Four: “I am excited, this is a new experience for me. I am very fortunate to be here in my second year playing pro basketball. I am very thankful to be part of this team, to be here today, but the goal is to win the championship.”

On whether there is extra motivation for CSKA after last season’s semi-final loss: “Absolutely. It weighs on the players’ mind and we want to win this time. My job is to help them, to motivate them, to do my best to help them beat Real and avoid a repeat of last year’s loss.”

On his participation in EuroLeague Rooks: “It is a great project, great to have people that may not have an idea of how life is in Moscow to get a look in my life and the other players’ life, to see how normal it is. I am very glad about this project.”
