Although being a historical French club, Cholet only managed to get their first title ever last Sunday. The champions convincingly defeated Le Mans 81-65 and succeeded Villeurbanne.

The one game final gathered the two best teams in the regular season with Cholet with a slight edge, as they had less one loss.

Antywane Robinson was the best scorer for the champions with 15 points, while Randal Falker added less one, Samuel Mejia 12, six rebounds and seven assists, Mickaël Gelabale 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists (final MVP), Marcellus Sommerville 11 points and John Lineham 10.

For Le Mans, Dewarick Spencer topscored the game with 21 points and grabbed five rebounds, followed by João Paulo Batista with 12 points and also five boards, Maleye N’Doye with 11 and Marc Salyers with less one.
