After defeating Euroleague champions Barcelona in Spain last week, the only undefeated team in Euroleague Fenerbahce Ulker returned home empty handed after losing 78-82 against Cholet basket.
It was the second win in a row for the French side following a home win against Lietuvos Rytas last week. Sammy Mejia had a great night for the hosts as he scored 29 points. Mejia finished the game with an index ranking of 35 which was the highest on Wednesday.
Fenerbahce won the first quarter 24-20 but the hosts answered with a strong second quarter 21-20 which put them ahead. Cholet didn’t let the lead slip out of their hands in the remaining two quarters.
