AEK Athens took to Twitter and announced the addition of Trevor Mbakwe to the roster for the remainder of the season.
Mbakwe will play for the 2018 Basketball Champions League champions until the end of the Greek Basket League playoffs.
Mbakwe spent the first part of the 2018/19 season in Germany, playing for Ludwigsburg, where he averaged 5.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in the BCL as well as 9.2 points and 7.2 boards in the German Basket League. He then moved to Japan.
