The Portland Trail Blazers big man Enes Kanter scored 13 points along with 13 rebounds in the Blazers’ 118-115 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of their first-round series on Tuesday.

Following the victory, Kanter said, per Sports Illustrated: “First I would like to definitely thank the Knicks for waiving me. I want to appreciate all the teams that didn’t pick me. I tried to actually sign with a lot of teams that weren’t interested, and then, you know, I was glad Dame and [Blazers general manager Neil Olshey] texted me, and I picked Portland.”
