The writers of The Athletic asked 127 NBA players to pick the MVP for the 2018/19 season.

Harden received 44.3% of the votes, with the star of the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo, following with 38.3% and Oklahoma City Thunder leader, Paul George, being third, with 12.7%.

Harden has been averaging 36.1 points, 7.6 assists, 6.6 rebounds in the league this season, whereas Antetokounmpo has been averaging 27.7 points, 12.5 boards, 5.9 assists and 1.5 blocks.

If the “Greek Freak” is named the MVP, he will be the first international player to win the award since the legendary Dirk Nowitzki in 2007.
