BBL ChampionshipThe fifth week of BBL action, in both the League and Cup competitions, has seen some exciting results, and the Team of the Week this week is led by Jelson Homes DMU Riders guard Tack Minor. After being challenged to respond in the appropriate fashion to a disappointing fourth weekend in the season, the Riders beat the Worthing Thunder away from home on Saturday evening 101-106. Minor earned his third appearance in the Team of the Week this season with a double-double of 36 points and 10 assists. He also shot an impressive 8/10 from the field and 6/9 from behind the three point line.

This week's other guard comes from the Marshall MK Lions, as EJ Harrison continues to dominate. He bagged 24 points on 11/13 field goal shooting, and 100% from the charity stripe in the Marshall MK Lions win over the Airwaves Plymouth Raiders on Saturday.

This week's forward spots go to Sheffield Sharks' Tafari Toney and his former team mate at the Newcastle Eagles, Charles Smith. Toney put up impressive numbers of 17 points and 15 rebounds as he continues to play hard to make an impact in the league with his second appearance so far this season. Smith meanwhile, helped his Eagles side to 99-72 victory over newcomers Essex Pirates on Sunday evening. The BBL veteran scored 24 points on 7/9 field goal shooting, in just over 20 minutes of action.

This week's star Centre was the Everton Tigers' Dzaflo Larkai. The GB squad member showed his class in the Tigers' 84-83 win over the Worcester Wolves with a massive double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.
