Thanks to a crazy three-pointer by Nick Calathes at the buzzer, Panathinaikos upset CSKA Moscow and boosted its chances to reach the playoffs (77-78).

Although the Muscovites had control of the game in the first half (41-35), the “Greens” stayed close and remained competitive until the end (59-58).

The visitors had the opportunity to win the game, after Will Clyburn missed a free throw, with 10 seconds remaining (77-75).

Calathes made the three-pointer from way deep and stunned the Russians, giving his team the first win over CSKA Moscow in eight years.

Calathes finished the game with 11 points and nine assists, as three more players scored in double digits for the winners.

Sergio Rodriguez (23 points) and Cory Higgins (14 points) stood out for the losing squad.

Panathinaikos earned its four straight win and improved to 13-13, whereas CSKA Moscow saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end and dropped to 20-6.
