Tenerife head coach Txus Vidorreta was ejected during the semi-final against Barcelona for complaining about a foul called by the referees.
Here is what the experienced coach said in the post-game press conference:
“My father would be proud of me because he was a good Catholic. I didn’t expect they were going to eject me for saying ‘please’ and getting on my knees.
The foul that Kuric made on Abromaitis was seen on the jumbotron screen and on the other hand, the last one was called. Those are plays that happen. I have also been wrong in some plays but I won twice in the Instant Replay.”
