Luka Doncic on his first NBA All-Star: “I’m happy that it’s done”

The Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic competed at the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend Skills Challenge. In the second round Doncic lost to the Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, who fell in the final round to the Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.

Following the competition, Doncic reflected on his experience during the NBA All-Star:

“It’s been great so far. I’m happy that it’s done. It’s a lot of work to do, but I’m happy. It’s a little bit more work to do, a lot of media, a lot of appearances. But it was fun. It was my first one and I hope of many to come,” Doncic said, per Star-Telegram.
