Nicolas Laprovittola was unstoppable and led Badalona to the semi-finals of the Copa Del Rey, following a 98-89 victory over Baskonia.
The Argentinian guard had a game-high 36 points and a PIR of 50, which is an all-time record in the history of the Copa Del Rey. With the 36 points he scored, Laprovittola set a new record in Badalona’s history in the competition.
Marko Todorovic (15 points, seven rebounds, four assists) and Luke Harangody (15 points, four boards) also stood out for the winners. On the other hand, Matt Janning had a team-high 18 points for the losing squad.
Badalona led for almost the whole game and cruised to the win. They will now face Real Madrid in the semi-final on Saturday (16/02).
