AEK Athens dominated San Lorenzo (64-86) on Friday night and secured its place to the 2019 FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

The 2018 Basketball Champions League champions outscored the FIBA Americas champions 13-27 in the second quarter and never looked back.

Since then, they easily retained their double-digit lead and cruised to an easy victory over their opponents to reach the Final.

Delroy James led the winners with 15 points and eight rebounds, along with a team-high 22 in PIR. Dusan Sakota added 15 points and Jordan Theodore 12 for the losing squad.

Dar Tucker (17 points, seven rebounds, four assists) and Joel Anthony (16 points, nine boards) stood out for the losing squad.

AEK Athens will face Flamengo in the Final, which will be held at the Carioca Arena in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday (17/02).
