Cantu announced the signing of the Gerorgian point guard Manuchar Markoishvili for the next season. Markoishvili comes from consecutive successful seasons with BC Kiev.
The 22-year old is so to say a veteran since he moved to Italy and Benetton at age 16 and has participating in various clubs in Europe since, namely Benetton Treviso, Mitteldeutscher, Olimpija Ljubljana and BC Kiev.
Markoishvili is 195cm tall and was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he also started his career with Basco Batumi.
