ALBA Berlin announced the addition of Derrick Walton to the team’s roster for the remainder of the season. Walton will replace injured Stefan Peno.
The American guard averaged 4.6 points and 2.5 assists in 17 EuroLeague games with Zalgiris Kaunas this season. He also had 8.4 points and a team-high 4.4 assists in 15 games in the Lithuanian League. Walton parted ways with Zalgiris on Tuesday.
ALBA Berlin has advanced to the EuroCup quarterfinals where they will face Unicaja Malaga. In the German League, they are fourth, at 14-4.
