In an interview with Izvestia, CSKA Moscow president Andrey Vatutin referred to Milos Teodosic and the possibility of the Serbian guard making his return to the EuroLeague.

Here is what the Russian executive said:

On whether Teodosic may return to the EuroLeague: “When we talked, I understood he hadn’t yet decided to return to the EuroLeague or if he prefers to recuperate ahead of the 2019 World Cup.

He will do everything possible to play for his National Team. Also, his wife is expecting their first baby and he wants the best for his family. Basketball isn’t the only issue on his mind.”

On the Serbian guard’s decision to move to the NBA: “He is a great court general, but in the NBA you need to be young and healthy. He was unlucky with injuries the past one and a half years.

In any case, he did a good job and tried for the best. If he hadn’t gone to the NBA, he would have regretted it until the end of his life.”
