Milos Teodosic, one of the greatest European point guards of his generation, has officially announced his retirement from professional basketball at the age of 38.

The Serbian maestro concluded a remarkable career that spanned nearly two decades and left a lasting impact across the EuroLeague and international competition.

Teodosic played 13 seasons in the EuroLeague, representing Olympiacos, CSKA Moscow, Virtus Bologna, and Crvena Zvezda.

He won the 2016 EuroLeague title with CSKA and was named the league MVP in 2010 during his time with Olympiacos.

His individual accolades include six All-EuroLeague selections, tying him for third-most all-time, and selections to both the EuroLeague 2010–20 All-Decade Team and the prestigious All-25 EuroLeague Team.

Statistically, Teodosic finishes his EuroLeague career ranked sixth all-time in both assists (1,491) and three-pointers made (595), while also ranking 13th in total points scored (3,420).

Teodosic won silver medals at EuroBasket 2009, the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, and the 2016 Olympic Games, after capturing youth golds at U16, U18, and U20 levels earlier in his career.

His creative playmaking, court vision, and high basketball IQ made him a fan favorite and a role model across Europe.

Born in Valjevo, Serbia, Teodosic began his professional journey with FMP before becoming a continental star.

He never relied on athleticism or speed, but rather on timing, instinct, and anticipation—qualities that made him one of the most unique guards in modern European basketball.
