Maccabi Tel-Aviv led by as many as 38 points and decimated Barcelona at home (99-83) to earn its third straight win in the EuroLeague.

It was a close game in the first quarter (23-20), yet the Israelis were unstoppable since then.

Being tremendous both defensively and offensively, they outscored their opponents 62-32 in the second and the third quarter and extended their lead to 38 points (78-40).

The hosts were in front by 33 points, after 30 minutes in the game (85-52), but the visitors went on an impressive 0-20 run to cut the deficit to 13 (85-72).

Yet, Maccabi brought the lead back to 20 points and the Catalans couldn’t come any closer than 16 points (99-83).

Tarik Black led the winners with a game-high 16 points, as Scottie Wilbekin and Johnny O’Bryant added 15 points apiece and John DiBartolomeo 14.

Pau Ribas and Pierre Oriola stood out for the losing squad, with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv improved to 8-11, whereas Barcelona dropped to 11-8.
