In a tough battle between two EuroLeague powerhouses, Real Madrid were tremendous offensively and defeated Olympiacos at home (94-78).

The “Reds” made a better start to the game (8-13) and remained competitive until early in the second quarter, when Giorgos Bogris tied the game (28-28).

Since then, the “Whites” took control and never trailed in the contest. They ended the first half in front by eight (54-46) and never looked back.

Although the Greeks attempted to turn things around (57-50), they never came closer than seven points and the Spaniards brought their lead back to double digits to seal the deal (81-70).

Anthony Randolph had 16 points and eight rebounds for the winners, as Gustavo Ayon (seven rebounds and four assists) and Facundo Campazzo (five assists) added 13 points apiece.

Zach LeDay posted 15 and eight boards for the losing squad, with Vassilis Spanoulis making a double-double (14 points and 11 assists) and Nigel Williams-Goss contributing 13 points.

Real Madrid improved to 15-3, whereas Olympiacos dropped to 11-7.
