Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Sunday that Tom Thibodeau is no longer the team’s head coach and president of basketball operations.

The 60-year-old coach was relieved of his duties after the victory of the Wolves over the LA Lakers.

Assistant coach Ryan Saunders will now take over as an interim coach for the remainder of the season.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN, Fred Hoiberg is one of the main candidates to replace Thibodeau.
