A 47-35 run in the second quarter let Real Madrid beat Maccabi Tel-Aviv for an eighth straight time at home (91-79).

It was a close game in the first half (21-18, 44-44), yet the Spaniards were unstoppable in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Playing very well on both ends of the floor, they outscored their opponents 47-35 and never looked back to claim another win in the competition.

Six players scored in double figures for the winners, with Gustavo Ayon leading the way with 18 points (9/10 shooting) and nine rebounds.

On the other hand, Michael Roll had a career-high 23 points (6/7 from the three-point range) for the losing squad, as Alex Tuys posted 17 points and eight boards.
