Thanks to an 8-24 run in the fourth quarter, Real Madrid came back from a 15-point deficit and edged Anadolu Efes on the road (82-84).

The Turks were dominant in the second and third quarter and took the upper hand, as they led by as many as 15 points in the game (69-54, 74-60).

The defending champions were unstoppable in the fourth quarter, though, and outscored their opponents 8-24 to turn things around and claim a hard-fought victory.

Gustavo Ayon was tremendous for the winners, with 20 points (on 10/11 shooting) and 11 rebounds, as Sergio Llull added 12 points and Trey Thompkins 10.

Adrien Moerman had 19 points and 10 boards for the losing squad, with Vasilije Micic posting 15 points and eight assists.

Shane Larkin and Tibor Pleiss also contributed 14 and 13 points, respectively, for the hosts.

Real Madrid improved to 9-2, whereas Anadolu Efes dropped to 8-3.
