Qyntel WoodsQyntel Woods, who played in Olympiakos last season and was released after it, today found new club. It’s Upim Fortitudo Bologna. 203 cm, 100 kg small forward, native of Memphis will sign 1+1 contract and will play an important role.

With Olympiakos Piraeus he averaged 10.7 ppg and 4 rpg in 23 Euroleague games and reached season high 23 points against Virtus Bologna. In Greek championship he averaged 12.5 ppg.

He was big star coming out of Carver High School and Northern Mississippi University and was selected as 21th in 2002 NBA draft by Portland Trail Blazers. He spent next 5 seasons in different clubs in NBA but couldn’t reach his potential. Last season he came overseas after spending a year in NBDL.
